Periodic Status Transmission – The keypad sends a continuous broadcast of messages indicating the press or release status of each button at that instance.This confirmation allows digital systems to have the same input acknowledgements as that of the latching position of a mechanical switch. Event Status Transmission – The keypad can send messages to the BUS indicating a button press or a button release event has occurred.The keypad can be configured to automatically announce its address and accept a new address assignment as appropriate. This enables customers that work in applications in the field without access to a GUI to use any replacement keypad on-hand. On the software side, you may assign any valid CAN address to the keypad. The IP69K rating provides protection against high pressure water at high temperature spray downs. Blink Marine’s IP67/IP69K Waterproof Rating guarantees each keypad to be dust tight and sealed against water immersion to a depth of 1 meter for up to 1 hour. The UV Protected (UVB 400 hours) keypad is highly resistant to deterioration caused by exposure to sunlight. Choose from over one thousand different stock inserts or order customized inserts (see Blink’s insert lists, linked below in the Literature section).

The replacement system for individual inserts makes modifying the keypad layout simple and economical. All optional inserts are sold separately. Please note that this keypad model DOES NOT include the icon inserts. The PowerKey PRO PKP-2400-LI Compact Keypad is designed with eight (8) keys that will accommodate interchangeable 24 mm inserts. PLEASE NOTE: Default protocol is J1939, conversion to CanOpen is no charge and will be done at customer's request.
